The Director of Recovery Plus will lead the for planning, developing, organizing, and marketing programs and services of the Recovery Plus Addiction/Mental Health Services division of the Behavioral Health department. Using your collaborative leadership skills, you will engage other stakeholders in St. Cloud Hospital, CentraCare Health, Central Minnesota and across the State to improve the clinical quality of, access to, and financial stability of Recovery Plus division of services. Recovery Plus provides ambulatory detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outreach services and programs for men, women, seniors, and adolescents with addiction and co-occurring disorders at multiple locations in Central Minnesota. Your operational leadership will: · Develop and maintain highly skilled staff, emphasizing internal and external collaborative relationships, with patient and family focused team work as a unifying theme for the department. · Support and implement patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. · Support and demonstrate Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers. · Establish and maintain visibility and relationships on behalf of St. Cloud Hospital with payers and regulators. EDUCATIONMasters Degree in Human Services area required. Advanced training in Healthcare Administration essential.EXPERIENCEMinimum of 5 years of management in health care setting required, preferably within a larger integrated health care system. Experience should include managerial responsibility for program development, staff supervision and evaluation, and financial management preferred. Familiar with laws on commitment, confidentiality, vulnerable adults, patient’s rights, and mandated reporting. Knowledge of current federal and state laws regarding confidentiality in addiction services. Familiar with licensing standards for residential, partial and intensive outpatient services for addiction and co-occurring disorder services for the state of Minnesota. Minimum of one year of work experience in direct service to individuals with chemical use problems OR one year of work experience in the management or administration of direct services to individual with chemical use problems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary. Basic computer skills are essential. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSAny persons who have direct client contact with clients in addiction facilities must be free of chemical use problems for at least the two years preceding their hiring and must sign a statement to that fact. Chemical use problems includes the following: 1.Criminal activity related to chemical use:2.Chemical use that has a negative impact on the employee’s job performance3.Chemical use that affects the credibility of the treatment services with clients, referral sources or other members of the community4.Symptoms of intoxication or withdrawal on the job.
